This is one of the best sites that I have found to learn the Hebrew numbers. It is explained better than even in some of the books! http://www.ulpan.net/hebrew-numbers-1-10 First we learn the numbers from one to ten, the number acts like an adjective and corresponds to the real gender of the Hebrew noun.
It just so happens that most of the time we use the feminine numbers because time, that is the hour, minutes and the year are all feminine. So pay attention more to learning the feminine numbers.
There are a fair amount of male nouns, so learn those too. Since we are in the Passover vacation, an easy way to learn the male numbers is to sing the Passover song Ehad Mi Yodeah
Next we can learn the numbers up to 99 http://www.ulpan.net/hebrew-numbers-10-100
And even more: http://www.ulpan.net/hebrew-numbers-hundreds-thousands-and-more
