Today we will meet Shlomo and Levy. What are they talking about?
There is an English translation at the bottom of this page, don't look at it until you have read the Hebrew!
שְׁלֹמֹה: הַיי אֵיךְ הוֹלֵךְ?
לֵוִי: אֲנִי בְּסֵדֶר, תּוֹדָה.
שְׁלֹמֹה: לְאָן אַתָּה הוֹלֵךְ?
לֵוִי:אֲנִי הוֹלֵךְ לְבֵית הַמִּרְקַחַת לִקְנוֹת אַטְמֵי אוֹזְנַיִים.
שְׁלֹמֹה:לָמָּה?
לֵוִי: הֵם פָּשׁוּט פָּתְחוּ אֶת בֵּית הַסֵּפֶר לְיַד הַבִּנְיָין שֶׁלָּנוּ וְהַיְּלָדִים מְאוֹד רוֹעֲשִׁים.
שְׁלֹמֹה:הַאִם זֶה יַעֲזוֹר?
לֵוִי: אֲנִי מְאוֹד מְקַוֶּוה!
שְׁאֵלוֹת:
מִי מְדַבְּרִים בְּיַחַד?
מֶה לֵוִי רוֹצֶה לִקְנוֹת?
אֵיפֹה?
מָה אַתָּה חוֹשֵׁב, הַאִם זֶה יַעֲזוֹר?
בִּמְקוֹם שְׁלֹמֹה וְלֵוִי רָחֵל וְרוּת מְדַבְּרוֹת יַחַד
English translation:
Hey, how are you doing?
I am fine, thanks.
Where are you going?
I am going to the pharmacy to buy some earplugs.
Why?
They just opened the school next to our building and the kids are very noisy.
