How to learn Hebrew. עת לעברית Book Review

This book was published in 1992, but it still has a lot going for it.  It is for people who want to improve their Hebrew fast, as it doesn't deal with vowels at all.
Eventhough starts as a beginner book, it moves quite fast, and you deal with longer texts.  Each lesson starts with a vocabulary sheet where the words are catagorized by part of speech which is very useful.

The price is reasonable, 30NIS.

Good luck learning Hebrew!

Book Review עברית אלפון

The title of the book really means: A telephone book of Hebrew, and that is kinda what it is, it teaches the basics of Hebrew without transliteration, so that you are reading Hebrew right at the start!

I have used this book to teach Hebrew, it give a great overview of the how to read the Hebrew Alphabet, and then some short dialogues to help with reading.
It is by Lois Rothbaum, Beila Bergman and Ora Band.
Published in 1987 by Behrman House.
This is the link on Amazon for the book.  83 pages

I would say that if you took lessons with me, we would do a lesson a session, and we will study for 10 sessions, give or take.  There are seven units in the book.  The later units are longer and might take more than one lesson.

Good luck with your Beginning Hebrew lessons!
