Modern Hebrew is a living changing language. So in order to help you when you make your visit to Israel I am including some sites that you can visit and learn some Hebrew Phrases
This site has 100 basic Hebrew phrases. English translation, transliteration and Hebrew (no vowels) with both the masculine and feminine pronunciations. Pretty good site and covers a lot of phrases that people use everyday!

If you go to the menu, you will find Hebrew Phrasebook. This is very interesting and you can request a phrase and after a while check back and it might be on the list!!
This is a nice post for you to learn Hebrew Slang, but I wish that they had written the Hebrew as well. You might want to read all the way through, and use these phrases when you are with friends, but as will all slang, don't use at a job interview!!

The last site is a short one, but covers words that are not covered in the other two. There is Hebrew, English, but no transliteration. Cute, to the point page.
