ד Dalet or Daled

ו Vav

The letter ד

It has the D sound similiar to English.

The ו can be used as a V sound and to help with making vowels.

Sometimes when the ו is used as a consonant, we might write two וו to show it is actually a v sound.

For example: יוון Yavan Greece, the country.

Now we know these letters: א ג ד ה ו י מ ם נ ן ר ת

א ג ד ה ו י מ ם נ ן ר ת

א ג ד ה ן י מ ם נ ן ר ת

The dalet, can take a dot called the Dagesh, but in Modern Hebrew it doesn't change the pronunciation of the letter.

Dalet ד with all the vowels:

דוֹ	דִ	דֵ	דֶ	דַ	דָ
doh	deee	dey	deh	daa	daaa

			דְ	דֻ	דוּ
			de	doo	doo

The ו can be a v sound or used a vowel Holom וֹ pronounced oh or Shuruk וּ pronounced oo , these two vowels can also be used without the vav, there is no rule per say, but there are some words that will use the ו and other not use it.

Vav ו with all the vowels:

וִ	וֵ	וֶ	וַ	וָ
vee	vey	veh	vaa	vaaa

	וְ	וֻ	ווּ	ווֹ
	ve	vou	vou	voh
