The letter ל   is like the L sound in English, " le "

ל  Lamed 

It is a regular consonant sound, and most of the time it doesn't drop out. 

Now we know these letters:  

 א  ג ד  ה ו י

 ל מ  ם  נ  ן  ר  ת 

ל  Lamed with all the vowels: 

 

לִ	לֵ	לֶ	לַ	לָ
leee	lay	leh	laa	laaaa
	לְ	לֻ	לוּ	לוֹ
	le	lou	lou	low
